MUSIC PROCEDURES: (For Practice Sessions)
Check in 1 CD for each event you are entering with your music recorded 1 time and labeled with your name, your event, and the length of time your music plays to the Music Table.  You will be given a number that will be announced in order along with your name when it is your turn to practice.  Take your pose at your apparatus and we will play your music when you are ready once through without stopping.  (If there is a technical difficulty, you will have another chance but we can not start it over if you make a mistake or forget your routine - just proceed as best and safely as you can and try to run it again at the end or do a Sunday morning practice.)  It is recommended you practice in your costume but it is not required.  It is also highly recommended you bring 2 labeled copies of your music in case one doesn't play correctly.

CATEGORIES OF EVENTS:

Each performer will select a category, (event/s), in which they would like to perform. All events will be performed using Aerial Dance Over Denver's apparatuses. Performances will take place in the main part of the studio which has a padded  (1 ¼ in) floor bordered by a wood floor. Additional mats are available.  The back studio has a sprung dance floor covered with Harlequin black marley.

NOTE:  Our ceiling height from the floor padding to the attachment point is 16.5 feet. Choreograph accordingly!

FAQ's
Q - Do you have homestays?
A - No, but you are welcome to ask if anyone would like to have you stay with them on Facebook.

Q - What if I am used to an apparatus that is different than what you have listed?
A - If you want to bring it to show us during the Aerial Share time on Sunday afternoon, we'd love to see it. Perhaps we will add it for next year but it won't be part of this year's Aerial Awards since it hasn't yet been offered to everyone who will be signing up.

Q - If I don't know what one of your apparatuses is that you have listed, but it sounds similar to something I know or it sounds like something I'd like to try, what is the best thing for me to do?
A - You may come arrange to try that apparatus in a class or a private lesson before the evet to see if you can use it as well as what you are used to using. Or use it in the practice sessions to get used to it.

Q - If I come early & really like one of your apparatuses that I didn't sign up for in advance, may I add it to what I'm already signed up to do?
A - Yes, as long as there is time available, you may add an additional apparatus for $10.

Q - When I get there, if I find that I'm not comfortable on one of the apparatuses that I signed up to do, can I change my apparatus?
A - We will attempt to let you change to another apparatus if you decide you want to and if it is possible without messing up the schedule. You will be allowed 1 change at no charge if it is reasonable & possible while adhering to our time schedule.

Q - Will I be refunded if I change my mind or can't attend?
A - No, we regret that we can not put on a successful program such as this if we allow refunds after you have signed up. It is important to be able to count on the people who say they are coming so we can hire the necessary people to make this a fulfilling event for all of the participants. Bringing people together like this is a unique and extraordinary opportunity for the participants, and each person's participation makes this event all the more special!
